PT Mandiri Sekuritas was established on July 31, 2000, as part of the consolidation of the Bank Mandiri group of companies, owned previously by the legacy banks of Bank Mandiri.

As a member of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Mandiri Sekuritas provides a full range of investment banking and securities brokerage services. In addition, it provides investment and asset management services through a wholly-owned subsidiary, PT Mandiri Manajemen Investasi.

Aligned to the strategy of Bank Mandiri to place its investment banking services as one of the bank’s main business pillars, Mandiri Sekuritas was significantly recapitalized in 2002 and 2003. This in effect made Mandiri Sekuritas into the largest and best capitalized investment bank in Indonesia, a force to be reckoned with. With this recapitalization, the Company also undertook a comprehensive repositioning and reorganizing in order to parlay its new-found strength to build growing portfolios in investment banking, capital markets, and investment management services; all of which comes with proven skills and expertise in securities underwritings, corporate finance and advisory works, securities brokerage, and investment management.

Gradually, Mandiri Sekuritas has found great success in building strong positions in both the equity and bond underwriting league tables, securities trading as well as a sizable asset under management. In a relatively short period of time since being recapitalized, Mandiri Sekuritas has transformed itself from a marginal player in the Indonesian capital markets into a full-service investment bank whose track record includes bringing many of the most prestigious deals to the market in recent memory.
